Ever since she choose to end her contract with Universal Japan and Def Jam, UK based reggae star Tenza has work been endless over the last 18 months to define her solo musical career, Tenza continue to push forward with her solid determination and persistence,Releasing three solo albums and a number of singles.
Tenza’s first two albums showed great promise, but were subpar on the value of her expectations on whole. Now with her latest release, “Pan Dem Endz Again,” she makes her third album to show her outstanding musical niche.
Tenza’s latest album is filled mostly with Soca and Reggae melodies and some European uptempo dance tracks. She displays confidence in her self-worth with tracks that should compel you to press replay. most of her tracks in particular is her chart-topping singles “Waistline,” featuring Chedda, “Push and Turn” and “My Love Is Like” which proves that she has the potential to fully carry herself as dominant female artist in the very competitive reggae market.
The sexy sin-jay dub ” The Boss Lady” in Europe, team’s up with long time producer Chad Williamson from Suncycle a long with productions from her black spyda records and her own TMD Records label producers.Tenza maintain that she dose not have to work with top-notch producers and record label to elevate her star status on this album. Most of the 16 tracks on this albums is what Tenza have being performed right across Europe, Africa and Asia which have land her a distribution deal with East Africa mobile company Spice Africa and see her tour over 75 countries last year.
Tenza show a different side of her with “Joe Grind.” She’s bold in her infatuation with herself on the mid-tempo track, claiming she was in love with two man but it was not her fault but a sticky situation . She sing-jay on the reggae-driven tracks, “Loving you”, Want a Natty, and Fire works. to add a different touch to what is arguable Tenza best work to date, to go with her own clothing line “Rasta Fetish” which being doing very well on the sub continent. Tenza is also set to unveiled another clothes Line ” Teez” which is very different from her ” Rasta Fetish” which is a club and Rave wear, ” Teez” is more a Urban and causal wear.Tweet
